My favourite store chocolate when I’m not making my own Raw Chocolate is Lindt. I love Lindt chocolate.
So here it is this yummy decadent Chocolate Hazelnut Spread…
Ingredients
80 grams toasted hazelnuts skin off ( see below )
60 raw sugar
100g Lindt 70%
10g Cacao Pure Organic Cacao (not cocoa)
100g Milk
70 g Butter
Secret Ingredient !!! – 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
Method
Place 80g of Hazelnuts with skin on onto a lined tray and put in oven 180 degrees for around 10 minutes (do not burn then)
Rub skins off with teatowel while still warm
Using Kneading Crushing Blade blitz the Hazelnuts and Sugar on Speed 12 for 2 minutes then scrape down and blitz on speed 8 for 4 minutes scraping down every minute to ensure thoroughly blitzed
Then add in the chocolate and blitz on speed 12 for 3 minutes scraping every minute
Add Cacao, Milk, Butter and Vanilla Extract
Heat on Speed 5 at 90degrees for 6 Minutes
Blend at Speed 12 for 30 secs – 60 secs
Pour into jar
PS don’t waste the left overs in the bowl….
Instant Hot ChocHazel Drink
Add 250mls of milk
Blitz speed 11 for around 20 secs
Then heat at speed 5 at 60degrees for 2minutes.
Note – For a Choc Mint Hazelnut Drink add in 1-2 drops of doTERRA Peppermint Essential Oil !
