Custard in the Cuisine Companion

A thicker style custard for fillings of pastries, cakes ,scrolls, deserts etc

A yummy custard thats not too sweet, not too much sugar and can be made Vanilla, Chocolate, Lemon or a Brandy version for Christmas

2 eggs
70g Sugar
30g Cornflour
500g Milk
1 tsp Vanilla

Using the Whisk attachment

Mix ingredients on Speed 7 for 20 seconds
Mix on Speed 4 for 90 degrees for 8 mins

For Choc Custard replace vanilla with 20g Cacao
For Lemon Custard replace Vanilla with zest of 1 lemon
For Brandy custard add 1-2 tbsp brandy
