Thin and Crispy Pizza
10g dried yeast ( I use Lowans and store in the freezer)
10g Maple Syrup
300g water
440g Bakers Flour
1tspn Sea salt
15g Olive Oil
Put yeast Maple Syrup and water in bowl , heat at 37degrees speed 1 for 2 minutes then mix 20secs on speed 6
Then add remaining ingredients Flour salt and oil and a tablespoon or 2 of Mixed dried herbs
Mix 5 secs speed 6
Put onto Lock position and Knead for 2 minutes
Tip out into a lightly sprayed bowl put plastic over put in a warm position and wait to rise to top.
Turn out and Roll out very thinly, this will do 3 pizzas. As in the photos the one I did in a large rectangle , placing it on baking paper and then a large tray (or pizza stone) prick base with pizza pricker or fork , spread with tomato pizza sauce thinly and pop into the pre heated 200 degree oven for about 5 or 6 minutes
Pull out and sprinkle with cheeses , Cheddar, Mozzarella etc . We all had one piece of this and then had some of the next “loaded” pizzas – per photos.. With enough for school lunches the next day
With the other two pizzas I rolled out the dough thinly but a little thicker than the first rectangle “free shape” one and placed on lightly oil sprayed pizza trays.
Spread with Tomato Pizza Sauce lightly and put in the oven for around 6-7 minutes then add on your toppings.. With one there was just chicken and cheese on one half and Baby spinach . With the other there was the lot ! Baby Spinach, Chicken, Ham, Olives, Sundried Tomato’s, Mushrooms and of course Cheeses! You can put anything you like !
Try these:
Satay Sauce with Whole Cashews and Cheese
Camembert, Cranberries and Cheese
Tikka Paste , Chicken and Cheese
Baby Spinach Leaves , Cannelini Beans and Feta
Egg and Bacon
Sweet Pizza – use my Decadent Chocolate Hazelnut Spread and sprinkle some mini marshmallows.
