These homemade baked beans are fabulous as a side with a main meal or serve them for breakfast with a poached egg or a brunch or lunch anytime is a good time

 

 

Homemade Baked Beans

Ingredients

1 Onion
2 Garlic Cloves
30 g Olive Oil
20g Wholegrain Mustard
20g Worcestershire Sauce
70g Tomato Paste
30g Maple Syrup
1tsp Oregano
1/2 tsp Ground Cumin
2 cans of beans drained ( I use either Borlotti, Cannelloni or Kidney Beans in any combination whatever I have on hand )
2 cans of Chopped Tomatoes

Method

Using the Ultrablade place onion and garlic in the bowl and blitz on speed 12 for 10 seconds
Add oil
Using the Auto programme Slow Cook at 130deg for 3 and half minutes cook the onion and garlic
Switch to the Mixer Attachment and add the rest of the ingredients

Cook on Speed 3 at 100 degrees for 40 Minutes

Serve and Enjoy..
