Chewy Anzac Biscuits
Ingredients
150 rolled oats
90 g Mix of raw and brown sugar
140g plain flour
125g butter
40g (1 tablespoons) golden syrup
40g (2 tablespoons) boiling water
1 tsp bicarbonate soda (add a little more water if mixture is too dry)
Method
Add in Butter and Golden Syrup on Speed 4 at 80 degrees for 3 minutes
Mix Water and Bicarb in a small bowl and whilst continuing Mixing at Speed 4 80 Degrees slowly pour the Bicarb/Water Mix through the hole in the lid – Mix for around 20 secs.
Add in Dry ingredients and mix on speed 3 for 1 minute scrape down and repeat for 15 secs
Place teaspoons of mixture onto lined tray, allowing room for spreading.
Bake 170 degrees for approximately 12 minutes
Crunchy Anzac Biscuits
Ingredients
150g rolled oats
60g Brown Sugar
80g Raw Sugar
140g plain flour
115g butter
20g (1 tablespoons) golden syrup
40g (2 tablespoons) boiling water
1 and 1/2 tsp bicarbonate soda
Method
Add in Butter Golden Syrup on Speed 4 at 80 degrees for 2 minutes
Mix Water and Bicarb in a small bowl and whilst continuing Mixing at Speed 4 80 Degrees slowly pour the Bicarb/Water Mix through the hole in the lid – Mix for around 20 secs.
Add in Dry ingredients and mix on speed 3 for 1 minute scrape down and repeat for 30 secs until mixed through
Place Balls of the mix about a dessertspoon full onto lined tray, allowing room for spreading.
Flatten
Bake 1600 degrees for approximately 15-18 minutes
