Just Kidding Baked Beans…
This is Dinner tonight. However you can serve these beans for breakfast or a brunch or lunch
This is one of our Favourites. On the left is the yummy Spinach, Feta & Tomato slice from Taste
I’ve been making this for years and love it. I’ve always served it with home made beans . I used to use a beans recipe from somewhere else ( for memory it was Good Chef Bad Chef) that was made on the stove top and then into the oven.
I call these Just Kidding Baked Beans ( well it was April 1st when I created these ) – these are delicious and simple to make.
Whilst the Pie/Slice is in the oven the beans are cooking in the Thermomix. ( Prepare your slice and then pop into oven whilst making the beans)
Ingredients
1 Onion
2 Garlic Cloves
30 g Olive Oil
15g Wholegrain Mustard
15g Worchestire Sauce
40g Tomato Paste
40g Maple Syrup
2 cans of beans drained ( I use either Cannelloni beans & Kidney beans one of each or 2 of one sort – either is fine)
2 cans of Chopped Tomatoes
Method
Place onion and garlic in the Thermomix Bowl and blitz speed 7 for 3 secs.
Add oil
Cook for 2.5 minutes speed 1 Temperature 100 degrees
Add the rest of the ingredients
Cook for 30 Minutes at 100 degrees Reverse Speed Soft.
Serve and Enjoy..
