These are wheat free, nut free, and above all additive free !
These are super crunchy which is imperative to longevity and great for their teeth.
This recipe makes 50 fabulous biscuits. All Dog Biscuit are tested first on our family. !!! These are great – but I don’t recommend feeding them to your family ! Keep them for your pooch and make some of my biscuits for ‘humans’ HERE
You will need :
200g Rice Flour (plus extra for putting on your pastry mat) You can grind your own rice up to 250g of grains at a time speed 9 for 1 minute.
60g Tomato Paste – recipe HERE (be careful using commercial tomato paste as they may use onion which is bad for dogs)
4 Rashers of Shortcut Bacon – Cooked and Cooled
80g Cheddar Cheese cubed
10g Parsley
1 Egg
Into the bowl add bacon and cubed cheese. Blitz on speed 6 for around 15 secs Add Tomato Paste, Parsley, Rice Flour and Egg.
Mix on Speed 6 for 10 seconds
Knead for 2 minutes
Roll out to about 1.5 to 2 cm in thickness on a rice floured mat and cut your shapes out.
Pop into a preheated 170degree oven for around 20 minutes until lightly browned.
Makes 50
Store in a tupperware / glass container with a tight lid to keep humidity out for around 1 month. You can also store some in the freezer.
These are a treat so use as per normal treats.
